The first of the NLP Pillars is "Know Your Outcome" - no matter what you're doing, you will always get a better result if you know what you are aiming for.
NLP is often described as an outcome-focused approach. People who learn NLP soon adopt the discipline of setting outcomes for everything that they do, and then begin to reap the benefits when they achieve better results than before.
Outcomes can be big - like "I will retire in 10 years time" or tiny, like "I will make a cake this afternoon".
